Q: What is the iGotchr web application?
A: iGotchr does not require installation of software on your PC, the web application is all you need to get started. When you visit our web application page, your webcam is activated after you enter your 6 digit code obtained from your iPhone.

Q: How do I setup iGotchr to use?
A: 
  1. The first thing to do is to download iGotchr into your iPhone
  2. Once your start iGotchr on iPhone, click on "Get a code", a unique 6-digit code will appear
  3. Visit the web application at http://bit.ly/iotchr and click launch and enter the 6-digit code
  4. Make some movement in front of your PC and step away, your iPhone will receive images in a few moments
Q: How do I hide the browser so that others will not know iGotchr is turned on?
A: Simple. All you need to do is to minimize your browser or alternatively, you can add a new tab on your browser and surf to a location other that iGotchr.

Q: What kinds of computer must I have to use iGotchr?
A: iGotchr works on both Windows and Mac OS PCs, desktops, notebooks, netbooks that are equipped with a webcam are compatible with iGotchr.

Q: Can anyone else see my images?
A: No. iGotchr sends all images directly to your iPhone identified by the 6-digit unique code and your iPhone's unique machine identifier.

Q: iGotchr camera shuts down after some time, I want it to run for an extended time.
A: Your computer may be set to go to sleep after some time. The default setting for Mac and most notebook computers is to have the computer go to standby or sleep after a specified time. The following are instructions on how to setup your computer for monitoring:

Mac/MacBooks:
  1. Click on Apple logo on the top left of screen and choose "System Preferences"
  2. Select/Click on "Energy Saver" under "Hardware" section
  3. Choose "Power Adaptor" tab and set "Computer Sleep" to Never on the slider
  4. Close "System Preferences" and start iGotchr again
Windows:
  1. Open Control Panel
  2. Select "All Control Panel Items" if you are on Windows 7
  3. Make you way to "Power Options"
  4. Click on "Show Advanced Plans"
    1. Double click "Sleep", double click "Sleep after"
    2. Click "On battery" or "Plugged in", then click "Never"
  5. Restart iGotchr.
